PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation of a paper carton by a collision and bar code misreading or the like by eliminating uneveness and distortion on the bottom face of the paper carton to prevent rolling and meandering on a roller conveyor. SOLUTION: A crease is provided on every other bottom face 12 and 14 of four bottom faces 11, 12, 13 and 14. The bottom faces are folded on the crease so that two pairs of adjacent bottom faces can move together at assembling and the folded part is jointed to the opposing parts of the bottom face 11 and 13, each of which are opposing to them in the folded up state. The bottom face 13, which is located at the most inner side in the assembled state among the bottom faces, has a shape that most circumferential edge parts are along the opposing faces of the side face parts. A part 13f having a nearly right-angled triangle provided on the most inner side bottom face can be piled by folding toward the center of the box so that the carton can be assembled conveniently from the folded up state and the piled parts of the adjacent bottom faces does not lie on the nearly right-angled triangle part so that the thickness of the paper carton in the folded up state is thin.
