PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent the downward turn of arms in a stored condition. SOLUTION: A load receiving deck elevating device 1 in which a load receiving deck 18 is in a stored condition by the upward turn of arms 4 and 8 is provided with a stopper to regulate the downward turn of the arms 4 and 8 from the position in the stored condition, a member to be abutted 61 which is displaceable at the abutting position to regulate the downward turn of the arms 4 and 8 by the abutting of the stopper 60 and the non-abutting position to permit the turn of the arms 4 and 8 by the detachment from the stopper 60, and a change-over operating unit 63 to manually change over the abutted member to be abutted 61 to the abutting position and the non-abutting position. The member 61 is displaced from the non-abutting position to the abutting position by upwardly turning the arms so as to be in a stored condition even when the change-over operating unit 63 is not operated.
