PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printhead and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The inkjet printhead is equipped with a substrate and a nozzle plate. On the substrate, an ink chamber filled with discharged ink is formed on the frontside, and a manifold for supplying ink to the ink chamber is formed on the rear side, and ink channels connecting the ink chamber and the manifold are formed side by side on the front face. The nozzle plate is stacked on the substrate and nozzles for discharging ink from the ink chamber are formed thereon, and equipped with a heater and an electrode electrically connected with the heater and applying an electric current to the heater. By forming the ink channels side by side on the same plane with the ink chamber, the printhead performance can be improved while preventing discharging failure due to the back flow phenomenon of ink or the like from occurring.
