<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for passing a wire capable of passing a longer distance even in an existing piping with a corner. <P>SOLUTION: In this wire passing method, a rigid pipe 10 is inserted in a piping 30 from an inlet 32 of the piping. A wire-like member 20 which is softer than the pipe 10 is inserted in the pipe 10, and made to pass from the inlet 32 of the piping 30 as far as an outlet 33 of the piping. Then, a cable 40 which is to be passed is connected to the wire-like member 20 and then the wire-like member 20 is retracted. The pipe 10 is easily inserted in the piping 30 against the friction to the piping 30 or an existing cable 7. The resistance to the wire-like member 20 is reduced by passing the wire-like member 20 in the pipe 10, so that the wire-like member 20 is easily guided to the outlet 33 side of the piping. By providing flexibility to the tip of the pipe 10 to bend a corner 36, the resistance that occurs at the corner 36 is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
