FIELD: cable communications. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to connection and splitting couplers intended to splice optical communication cables laid in cable-conduit lines, collectors, tunnels, leads into automatic telephone exchanges and local networks. Coupler includes tray on which cassettes for laying of lengths of reserve stock of optical fibers and joints of optical fibers protected by sleeves, two or one plastic head are anchored. One head incorporates three branch pipes, tube housing cylindrical parts of heads and pan and thermally shrunk tubes sealing points of connection of heads with tube and branch pipes with optical cables are located. One variant of coupler has two U-shaped brackets fixed at certain distance from correspondingly first and second ends of tray. Opposite faces of bracket have three T-shaped protrusions each to fix ends of optical cables. Heads are attached to ends of tray and branch pipes are sealed for opening by cutting of butt. Dead-end coupler has one bracket attached to tray. EFFECT: enhanced functional reliability of coupler, its raised adaptability to manufacture, widened application capabilities. 12 cl, 6 dwg |
