PURPOSE: A styrene-based resin composition and a molded product prepared by using the composition are provided, to improve flame resistance and thermal stability. CONSTITUTION: The styrene-based resin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a rubber reinforced polystyrene resin; 1-5 parts by weight of a brominated epoxy oligomer represented by the formula I; 5-10 parts by weight of 2,4,6-tri(2,4,6-tribromophenoxy)-1,3,5-triazine represented by the formula II; and 0.5-5 parts by weight of a flame-resistant material. Preferably the rubber part of the rubber reinforced polystyrene resin is selected from the group consisting of butadiene-based rubbers, isoprene-based rubbers, butadiene-styrene copolymer-based rubbers and alkyl acrylate-based rubbers; and the monomer of the polystyrene resin is selected from the group consisting of aromatic monoalkenyl monomers, alkyl ester monomers of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid and their mixtures. |
