PURPOSE: Provided is a downflow dust collector which is able to effectively eliminate foreign matters adhered to a filter paper by directly transferring the intensity of compressed air produced from an air header and prevent shaken-off dust from being adhered again to the filter paper. CONSTITUTION: The downflow dust collector(2) comprises an upper cap which is placed on top of a case(10) and has an inlet port where air is flown; an outlet port(18) which flows out the filtered flown-in air; a lower cap(20) which has a foreign matters discharge port(19) to discharge the foreign matters adhered to a filter(16); an air header(22) to separate the foreign matters adhered to circumference of the case by spraying compressed air to a hollow part; an elastic extending part which is extended by elasticity; and a filter fixing tool(36) which is inserted to the elastic extending part to fix the filter to the case.
