PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing structure for a resin relief printing plate capable of miniaturizing a printing apparatus without generating inferiority of printing caused by shaving a resin, and the printing apparatus. SOLUTION: A plurality of suction holes 14 are provided on the peripheral face of a plate cylinder 11, and the back surface of the resin relief printing plate 31 is tightly stuck on the peripheral face of the plate cylinder 11 by sucking air from the suction holes 14 to fix the resin relief printing plate 31 on the plate cylinder 11. A plurality of areas are set in accordance with positions where the suction holes 14 are arranged, and suction can be successively started in order on every area. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
