PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liftable stand for a Japanese style chair miniaturizing a device by reducing components comprising a lift drive part and smoothly and quietly raising/lowering swinging support legs by a simple control. SOLUTION: The swinging support legs 4, 4, 5 and 5 are raisingly/loweringly attached to the both side parts of a base 2. The Japanese style chair mount 14 is mounted on the upper ends of the swinging support legs 4, 4, 5 and 5. The Japanese style chair mount 14 is so formed that the both end parts are vertically raised and the upper ends of the swinging support rods 4, 4, 5 and 5 are pivoted to the outside of the vertical part 14a. A cylinder 15 is swingably attached to the upper surface of the base 2. The tip of a piston rod 15a of the cylinder is turnably connected to a shaft rod 12 laid between the rear side swinging support legs 5 and 5. Wheels 18, 18, 19 and 19 are attached to appropriate parts in the lower parts. When the swinging support legs 5 and 5 are lowered, the rear-side wheels 19 and 19 are raised to be higher than the base 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
