PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for closing a hole of a member by a closing body, easily closing the hole at low cost, and a member including a hole closed by the closing body. SOLUTION: Sheet material 11 made of various materials is put on a member body 1 so as to cover an opening 6a of the hole 6 provided on the member body 1, and a periphery of the opening 6a of the member body 1 is relatively pressed against the sheet material 11. Accordingly, a part of the sheet material 11 is punched out in a shape corresponding to the opening 6a, enters the hole 6, closes the opening 6a and forms the closing body 13.
