PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-standing structure having sound-absorbing property as well as water permeability and air permeability necessary for the growth of plant, securing the strength as a self-standing structure as necessary, enabling the construction of the structure in a short time with reduced labor and producible even by using recycled waste materials. SOLUTION: The body 1 of the self-standing structure having a planting hole 2 on at least one surface and containing a plurality of partitioned planting spaces 6 in the body is produced by coating the surface of aggregate using a fiber-mixed synthetic resin as a binder, pouring the coated aggregate into a mold and compressing and bonding the aggregate. The body 1 of the self-standing structure is inserted between H-section steel members and the web space is filled with a fiber-mixed resin the same as the material of the body 1 or the bodies 1 are laterally connected by butting the right and left end faces, a reinforcing material such as reinforcing steel or a steel member is driven into the butt space and the space is filled with a fiber-mixed resin the same as the material of the body 1.
