PURPOSE: A light emitting device for a key button of a portable terminal is provided to accurately grasp a pushed key and prevent an error operation by emitting the light of the pushed key as a color which is different from colors of the other keys which are not pushed. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting body(12) lights a key button(11) of a portable terminal. A control unit controls the light emitting body(12) so that colors of light emitted to a pushed key and the other keys which are not pushed differ. The light emitting body(12) has two or more photo diodes(3,13) for emitting inter-different lights.
