<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic circuit with improved yield and aperture rate by reducing the number of transistors to be used, and to provide a method for driving the electronic circuit, an electrooptical device, a method for driving the electrooptical device, and an electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A pixel circuit 20 is constituted of a driving transistor Q1, a transistor Q2, a switching transistor Q3, and a holding capacitor Co.
