PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnetic detection device, in which a variation in a magnetic field is detected by a magnetic detection means, and in which the productivity is improved. SOLUTION: The magnetic detection device includes a first block 9 having a first magnetoresistive element 2 for detecting the variation in the magnetic field that varies with the movement of a rotor, an electronic component 3 for forming a protective circuit against a noise coming from the outside, a first lead frame 4 electrically connected to the electronic component 3, and a first base 5 in which the electronic component 3, the first lead frame 4, and the magnetoresistive element 2 are sealed with a resin, a second block 12 having a magnet 1 disposed opposite a body to detected and for generating the magnetic field, a second lead frame 7 electrically connected to the first lead frame 4 and having a connector terminal 6 for outputting an output signal of the magnetoresistive element 2 to the outside, and a second base 8 in which the second lead frame 7 is sealed with the resin, and an outer exterior resin 20 covering the second block 12 and the first block 9.
