PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a respiration supporting apparatus with excellent usability which supplies air in a proper humidity and a temperature to the face of a sleeping user so as to allow the user to comfortably take a breath, which does not need to be brought into contact with the face and is easily adjustable by the user so as to prevent nasal congestion and which provides comfortable sleep. SOLUTION: This respiration supporting apparatus 1 includes: a face mask panel part 2 formed by bending along the face of the user; a panel support member 3 for supporting the lower surface of the panel part 2 by separating the surface from the face of the user by a prescribed distance; an air supply tube 7 connected from an upper part to an air supply hole part which is pierced in the face mask panel part 2; diffusion boards disposed in the lower parts of the air supply hole part; and diffusion board fixing members 15 for fixing the diffusion boards to the panel part 2.
