PURPOSE: A cosmetic or dermatological preparation containing a complex of vitamin F, and cyclodextrin including α-, β- and γ-cyclodextrin. It is stabilized against decomposition caused by oxidation reaction and has oxidation resistance and is suitable for treatment and protection of dried skin. CONSTITUTION: The cosmetic or dermatological preparation comprises vitamin F as an essential fatty acid, in which the vitamin F is present in the form of a complex with a cyclodextrin selected from the group consisting of alpha-cyclodextrin, beta-cyclodextrin, and gamma-cyclodextrin. The preparation is prepared by dispersing the complex of vitamin F and cyclodextrin in water at 20 to 80deg.C for 10min to 2hr and can contain silicon oils, humectant agents, skin-protecting materials, gel forming agents, O/W or W/O emulsifiers, preservatives, sterilizing agents, antioxidants, sunscreen filters, inorganic pigments, self-tanning agents, additives, consistency-imparting agents, fillers, electrolytes, vitamin, alcohol, water, salts, stabilizers, dyes, flavors and essential oils.
