PURPOSE: A solid cultivation method of mycelia of and fruit bodies of hericicum erinaceus using medicinal herbs and a health food containing the extract of mycelia and fruit bodies of hericicum erinaceus are provided. Therefore, physiologically active materials or powders containing them can be obtained. CONSTITUTION: The solid cultivation method of mycelia and fruit bodies of hericicum erinaceus comprises the steps of: inoculating hericicum erinaceus in a YMPG or an MCM medium having pH 5.0 to 6.0 and culturing it at 23 to 26 deg. C with agitation of 120 rpm for 5 to 8 days; adding water into medicinal herbs including Angelica gigas Nakai in the volume ratio of 2:1 and heating them at 110 to 130 deg. C for 2 to 4 hours to prepare a solid medium; and inoculating 10% of the cultured medium into the medicinal herb solid medium, and followed by firstly culturing it at 23 to 26 deg. C for 40 to 50 days and secondly culturing it at 15 to 20 deg. C for 10 to 15 days. The health food contains an extract of mycelia and fruit bodies of hericicum erinaceus which is produced by heating it at 95 deg. C for 10 hours or more.
