PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically reproduce the files continuously up to the assigned files and to automatically stop the reproduction in a simple operation. SOLUTION: When an automatic reproduction stop mode is set, an operator operates a reproduction key and then assigns the number of the files desired to be reproduced with a numerical key. The number of the reproduced files is counted through the index search information of the files. When the reproduction of the last assigned file ends and the index search information of the next file is detected, the number of counts coincides with the assigned number of the files and therefore the reproduction is automatically stopped.
