PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grave foundation structure in which aseismicity is improved by forming an integral structure in a box shape apart from a concrete foundation without joining the concrete foundation and a grave foundation. SOLUTION: A plurality of slates 10a to 10d are laid on the concrete foundation 1 in a square frame shape so as to surround a charnel 5, and mortices 12 and 12 are formed to opposed sections of each adjacent slate 10a to 10d respectively while tenon slates 13 are fitted into the opposed mortices 12 and 12. Each slate 10a to 10d is connected integrally and a square frame-shaped foundation slate 10 is formed, fitting grooves 14 are formed at the slates 10b to 10d along each side of the slate 10, projecting sections 16 projected from the bottoms of drum stones 2b to 2d2 are fitted in the fitting grooves 14 and the drum stones 2a to 2d2 are assembled in a box shape.
