PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ornamental flooring material which is concurrently equipped with excellent designability obtained by applying grooving to a surface, water resistance/solvent resistance resistant to a severe use environment after execution of work, and surface hardness such as caster resistance. SOLUTION: In this ornamental flooring material, a ornamental sheet 3 made of a thermoplastic resin is laminated all over a wood base material 1 along an inner surface of a groove part 4 via a rigid thermoplastic resin layer 2 where the groove part 4 is formed on a top surface. The ornamental sheet 3 is laminated by a wrapping method etc. The designability is also further enhanced by using the ornamental sheet 3 where a deep color part is preformed in a place corresponding to the groove part 4 or by forming a deeply colored layer in the groove part 4 after the lamination of the ornamental sheet 3.
