PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angle rest free from interference between a work or the rest and a machine tool. SOLUTION: The angle rest 11 is fixed on a table of the machine tool provided with both a spindle installed rotatively about a specified axis and having a tool mounted on its tip and a table 13 enabling rotational positioning in front of the spindle, and works 19<SP>1</SP>-19<SP>3</SP>are mounted and supported on the rest 11. The rest 11 comprises a triangular prism-shaped main unit member 17 fixed on the table with its equilateral triangular cross section perpendicular to the rotation axis O of the table and a work mounting surface formed on each of three sides of the main unit member.
