PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crotch region folding apparatus for a disposable diaper capable of folding a crotch region. SOLUTION: The crotch region folding apparatus for the disposable diaper has a first rotary plate 21, a large number of folding plates 22 mounted on the peripheral edge part 21a of the first rotary plate 21, a large number of positive motion cams 23 interposed between the first rotary plate 21 and the folding plates 22 to be mounted on the peripheral edge part 21a of the first rotary plate 21, a second rotary plate 44 arranged in opposed relation to the opposite side of the first rotary plate 21 and a large number of auxiliary plates 52 mounted on the peripheral edge part 44a of the second rotary plate 44. The folding plates 22 and the auxiliary plates 52 enter into a diaper structure 70 synchronously and guide arms 32 enter the gap between guide blades 54. Both side parts 72a of the crotch region 72 are held between the guide arms 32 and the guide blades 54 to fold the crotch region 72 in the diaper structure 70. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
