<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizer which solves the problem that the adsorption ability for hydrogen sulfide is not shown sufficiently only by utilizing water existing in the air though a conventional transition metal oxide is stabilized in the form of sulphate by adsorbing and deodorizing the hydrogen sulfide and reacting with the water and oxygen existing in the air. <P>SOLUTION: In the long-life deodorizer with a water loading means 3 provided on the upstream side of a deodorization body 4, the deodorization body 4 sufficiently shows the hydrogen sulfide removing ability by containing a mixture or complexes of hydroxide and oxide of a transition metal containing at least one of manganese, copper and cobalt in the deodorization body 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
