PURPOSE: A charger for a handheld device is provided to couple firmly a charger to a housing by forming the charger with one module. CONSTITUTION: A charger for a handheld device comprises a turn-on unit having an end portion connected to a charging port of the charger, an elastic member for allowing the turn-on unit to contact smoothly to the handheld device by applying elastic force to the turn-on unit, a charging port holder for supporting an end portion of the elastic member and, having a through hole and guiding the elastic member and the turn-on unit, and a housing(310) having an open hole(312) into which the charging port holder is inserted.
