PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen apparatus for increasing the purification treatment quantity of a paper stock. SOLUTION: This screen apparatus A includes a tank 10, a first cylindrical screen 1, a second cylindrical screen 2 fixedly provided in the tank 10 outside the first cylindrical screen 1, a stirring member 3 for stirring the paper stock, a connection member 4 having an opening which is in communication with a chamber 1B' formed between the inside of the second cylindrical screen 2 and the outside of the first cylindrical screen 1, and a paper stock discharging passage 5 which is attached to the second cylindrical screen 2, communicates with the opening, has a passage for discharging the paper stock in the chamber 1B', and has a passage through which the paper stock in the passage is discharged out from the tank 10.
