PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment capable of controlling gain without degrading the S/N ratio of signals after being subjected to a diversity processing. SOLUTION: The communication equipment is provided with a comparison part 11 for comparing gain setting values calculated and outputted by AGC control parts 10a and 10b of respective branches and conversion parts 1004a and 1004b for generating gain adjusting signals corresponding to the respective branches from the gain setting values obtained in the comparison part 11, so that the gain of variable gain amplifiers 5a and 5b of the respective branches is controlled by the gain adjusting signals from the conversion parts 1004a and 1004b.
