PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of multi-level cooling a high-temperature superconduction device where a required power is less and its cost is lower compared with a previous usable system. SOLUTION: The cooling method is to keep a superconduction operating condition by cooling the high-temperature superconduction device. The method is used to shut out a surrounding heat at a temperature higher than that of saturated liquid nitrogen by cooling a first heat transmitting means, such as a heat medium liquid, and is used to keep the superconduction operating condition at temperatures in a range of high-temperature superconduction operation by cooling a second heat transmitting means, such as a second heat medium liquid.
