PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt-type power transmission wherein the entire length of a belt for power transmission during positioning does not vary, a stopping position of a driven pulley does not shift, and thus repeating positioning accuracy is high. SOLUTION: The belt-type power transmission comprises a driving pulley 1, the driven pulley 2, the endless belt 3 for power transmission hung on these pulleys, and a tensioner 4 contacting with the back surface of the belt 3 for power transmission by pressure to apply the tension to the belt. The tensioner 4 is a tensioner having circumferential uneven parts on the outer peripheral surface on which the tensioner 4 contacts with the belt 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
