PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recyclable surface-protecting film hardly causing blocking, and wrinkles and winding creases at forming or recovering, and suitable for an optical member. SOLUTION: The surface-protecting film hardly causing the blocking, and the wrinkles and the winding creases at the forming or the recovering is obtained by laminating an adhesive layer 3 on a base layer 2 composed of one or more layers comprising a composition obtained by mixing a high-density polyethylene free from an inorganic material with a low-density polyethylene free from the inorganic material in a ratio of (30wt.%:70wt.%) to (70wt.%:30wt.%).
