PURPOSE: A reflecting plate for a back light assembly and a back light assembly using the reflecting plate are provided to prevent the contact portion of a light guide and the reflecting plate from being deformed and improve luminance of the back light assembly. CONSTITUTION: A reflecting plate(70) for a back light assembly includes a base film(71), a protrusions(73) formed on the surface of the base film, and a reflecting layer(75) formed on the base film and the protrusions. The protrusions are formed of an elastic material. The base film has a plate shape and maintains the shape of the reflecting plate. The reflecting layer is formed in a manner that Ag is deposited on the base film and the protrusions and reflects lights, emitted from a light guide, to the light guide. The protrusions provide a buffering force when the light guide and the reflecting plate come into contact with each other. A bending prevention part(77) is formed on the back side of the base film to prevent the base film from being bent.
