PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein fears that a hold of a seedling mat can not hold a seedling mat because the hold has come off from an opening by having been caught by the seedling mat when carrying out a seedling-delivering operation for supplying seedlings to a seedling-carrying platform because an upper engaging part of the hold of the seedling mat arranged in the seedling-carrying platform is engaged with the opening formed in a rib so as to be engaged by inserting the upper engaging part from the reverse direction of the conveying direction of the seedling and engaging the engaging part from the back side in a conventional rice transplanter. SOLUTION: The rice transplanter is obtained by arranging the hold 46 of the seedling mat in the seedling-carrying platform 16, and the upper engaging part 46d of the hold 46 of the seedling mat is constituted so as to be attached to and detached from the engaging part 51 installed on the seedling-carrying platform 16 from the seedling-conveying direction.
