<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily put on a seat belt in an automobile seat belt device having a seat belt put on a body of an occupant seated on a seat and the tongue plate slidably attached to the seat belt and wherein the tongue plate is detachably connected with a buckle fixed to the vehicle body to put the seat belt on the body of the occupant. <P>SOLUTION: A tongue holder 15 is attached to a seat side garnish 16 attached to an exterior side face of a seat cushion 2. The tongue plate 10 is attachably/detachably attached to the tongue holder 15 when the seat belt device 8 is not used.
