PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel rotor which can easily be formed, is lightened, and maintains a high strength. SOLUTION: This spinning reel rotor 3 has a rotor body 15 rotatably mounted in a reel main body 2, a bail arm 16 swingably mounted at the tip of the rotor body 15, and a cover member 17 mounted on the rotor body 15 to nip a guard member 18 from the upper and lower sides. The rotor body is formed from a metal by an aluminum die casting method. The guard member 18 is an aluminum alloy member formed by a cold casting method. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
