PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a lithium concentrated liquid from a lithium-containing aqueous solution such as brackish water or sea water containing no solid material with high recovery of lithium ions. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the lithium concentrated liquid from the lithium-containing aqueous solution is performed by (a) introducing the lithium-containing aqueous solution into an adsorbent, (b) introducing water into an adsorption bed to desorb ions of sodium, potassium and magnesium which are adsorbed on the adsorbent, (c) introducing an acidic solution into the adsorption bed to desorb lithium ions adsorbed on the adsorbent to obtain a solution having 1200-1500 ppm lithium ion concentration, (d) increasing the concentration of lithium ions in the solution obtained in the step (c) to 6000-10000 ppm by 1st electrodialysis and (e) further increasing the concentration of lithium ions in the solution obtained in the step (d) to 14000-18000 ppm by 2nd electrodialysis.
