PURPOSE: A electronic device and a photographing method thereof are provided to automatically switch two light sources serving as flashlights to each other when a camera is switched to another camera. CONSTITUTION: An electronic device includes the first and second image capturing units(11a,11b), a camera selecting unit, the first and second lights(12a,12b), a light selecting unit, and a photographing controller. The first image capturing unit photographs an image. The second image capturing unit is located distant from the first image capturing unit and photographs an image. The first light irradiates the object photographed by the first image capturing unit. The second light irradiates the object photographed by the second image capturing unit. The camera selecting unit selects one of the first and second image capturing units. The light selecting unit selects one of the first and second lights based on the selection of the camera selecting unit. The photographing controller performs photographing using the selected image capturing unit and selected light.
