EMERGENCY STATIC SWITCH FOR UNINTERRUPTED POWER SUPPLY

PURPOSE: An emergency static switch is provided to achieve in-advance prevention against power failure at the load side by applying emergency power upon occurrence of faults of static unit driver circuit. CONSTITUTION: An emergency static switch comprises a static signal sensing unit(110) for detecting a static switch driving signal generated during the power line conversion to the inverter or bypass line side, and generating an output; an error detection unit(120) for detecting the static switch driving signal for inverter side and static switch driving signal for bypass line side, and generating an output in case of absences of both signals; a clock oscillating unit(130) for generating a clock signal by being driven by the output of the error detection unit; a preliminary driving signal generating unit(140) for detecting outputs of the static signal sensing unit, error detection unit and the clock oscillating unit, and generating a static switch bias signal and a relay driving signal for operation of a brake; an emergency static unit(150) for operating the brake by the output of the preliminary driving signal generating unit; and a static signal buffer unit for applying a driving signal to a static switch driving unit by being driven by the output of the static signal sensing unit.
