SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANIPULATING MULTIPLE CLIP ITEMS OF DATA

A clip book system communicates with an operating system which controls temporal buffering of each clip item in a buffer. It requests the operating system to notify when a clip item of data is placed into the buffer and receives notifications from the operating system. When a notification is received, a data entry controller copies each clip item of data from the buffer into a select ed section of a local memory. An information adder adds item information to the copied clip item of data.
