PURPOSE: An airbag device is provided to sufficiently secure the effect of an airbag by appropriately protecting a driver's body in a common vehicle having a large installing angle of a steering device. CONSTITUTION: An airbag(1) has a limit tether(3) to limit the expansion upward a steering wheel(7) and a side expansion portion(5) in the one side of the airbag. A fixing device of a rotating portion fixes an airbag module to maintain the position of the side expansion portion downward the steering wheel against the rotation of the steering wheel. Thereby, a driver's body is protected appropriately. |
