PURPOSE: A door checker for regulating the opening angle of a door is provided to conveniently rescue persons in accidents and carry patients in an emergency and to easily load articles larger than the opening angle of the door by maximally expanding the opening angle of the door. CONSTITUTION: A door checker for regulating the opening angle of a door is composed of a fixing member(12) attached to a side panel(6) of a vehicle body; a checker bar(8) of which one end is fixed to the fixing member by a pin(10), the other end is fixed to a stopper pin(8a), and the middle side is bent; and a braking unit fixed to the door of a vehicle to stop the checker bar from getting out of a constant distant range. The braking unit comprises a plate(26) forming a second hole(26a) penetrated with the checker bar in the center; a lever plate(24) vertically connected to the upper end of the plate and movably installed in an inner panel of the door by a hinge(22); and an auxiliary panel(28) vertically connected to the lower end of the plate and fixed to the inner panel of the door to fix the plate. The lever plate includes a first hole(24a) of which the opening side is connected with the second hole and a knob(20) formed at the opposite side of the first hole.
