The transmission has two transmission paths coupling the engine of a vehicle to the wheels, a principal power path (136,137) and a secondary power path comprising an epicyclic train (141,142) associated with each electrical machine (131,132). A mode changer selectively immobilizes parts of one epicyclic train associated with one electric machine to choose one operating modes of the transmission.
