PURPOSE: A device for warning the breakage of a vacuum pump of an alternator for a vehicle is provided to prevent accidents by deciding the drop of pressure with an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) and warning the breakage of the vacuum pump through a warning unit when the vacuum pump of the alternator is broken down in traveling of an engine or the power generation of the alternator. CONSTITUTION: A device for warning the breakage of a vacuum pump of an alternator(10) for a vehicle is composed of the alternator installed to the side of an engine of the vehicle and mounted with the vacuum pump; a negative pressure sensor(11) mounted to the side of the vacuum pump to sense the pressure of the vacuum pump when the vacuum pump is broken down; an ECU(20) installed to the vehicle to receive signals from the negative pressure sensor and a brake switch of the vehicle; and a warning unit(30) disposed to the side of the vehicle to receive the signal from the ECU and inform a user of the breakage of the vacuum pump when the vacuum pump is broken down.
