PURPOSE: A method for distributing audio visual documents by using fixed downloading installations and portable terminals, terminals and installations for realizing the method thereof are provided to enable a user to access an installation where documents are launched from a broadcasting station in order to wirelessly download the documents, so that the user can connect a portable terminal to the user's house to reproduce the documents recorded in the terminal. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal(1) inputs a download command, and wirelessly downloads a document to a memory of the portable terminal(1) from a fixed device(2). In order to reproduce the downloaded document within a domestic installation(3), the portable terminal(1) is connected to the domestic installation(3). The step of downloading the document comprises the steps as follows. A signal suggesting the downloading of at least one document is transmitted by the fixed device(2). At least the one document is selected at a level of the portable terminal(1). At least the one document is transmitted by the fixed device(2), and is received in the portable terminal(1). The selected document is stored at the level of the portable terminal(1).
