ANALYSIS METHOD FOR LARGE-SCALE DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a search space with no item unit limitation during searching a rule and reduce throughput when applying rule generating processing for extracting useful knowledge from a great amount of data.

SOLUTION: A search space reducer 102 edits original data in a data storage device 105 and data for parameters in a parameter storage device 106 and substitutes deficit values for all data of a certain value for a certain item. Furthermore, a rule generator 103 prevents the deficit values from being applied as objects to be searched.
