The subject of the invention is a composition for the oxidation dyeing of keratinous fibers, and in particular human keratinous fibers such as hair, comprising, as oxidation base, a 1-(4-aminophenyl)-pyrrolidine substituted at the 2-position. The subject of the invention is also the method for the oxidation dyeing of keratinous fibers using these compositions.
