<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an inexpensive light alloy composite member which is excellent in the freedom degree of shape by compounding under extremely low pressure. <P>SOLUTION: A preformed body 7 for composite to be compounded of a base material by impregnating an aluminum alloy, is set into sand molds 1, 2 in a state in which it is held by a sand core 6 having lower ventilation than the preformed body 7 for composite and pore diameter restraining the intrusion of molten metal. The molten metal is poured into the sand molds 1, 2 and also, while exhausting the air existing in the preformed body 7 for composite through the sand core 6, the molten metal is impregnated and filled up into the preformed body 7 for composite, and made to the composite. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
