ANALYTICAL METHOD OF BASE MUTATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately and efficiently investigating a gene base mutation of a living body.

SOLUTION: The analytical method of the gene base mutation comprises (a) a stage for amplifying a specific polynucleotide by using a forward primer and a reverse primer, (b) a stage for cutting the amplified specific polynucleotide with a restriction enzyme and producing two or more species of single chain polynucleotide fragments having a size of 2-32 bases and containing a mutated sequence and (c) a stage for measuring the molecular weight of the cut fragments.
