<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden on a subject by reducing the number of measurement electrodes to be used for a diagnosis of the brain wave. <P>SOLUTION: The measurement electrodes are disposed in positions in T5 and T6 prescribed in International 10-20 Law, brain wave data obtained by the measurement electrodes are received by an input part 11, a phase analysis part forms phase analysis data of V-dV/dt based thereon and a Mahalanobis distance calculation part 16 calculates Mahalanobis distance using an amount of characteristics of a set selected from an aspect ratio, a V maximum value, a sub/total rotation speed ratio and an RL/UB distribution ratio by a characteristic amount calculation part 13. The abnormality of the brain wave is determined based on the Mahalanobis distance and the determination result is output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
