PARIETAL-ENDODERM-LIKE CELL LINE AND METHOD FOR ESTABLISHING THE SAME AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SECRETORY PROTEIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parietal-endoderm-like cell line such as a cell line derived from Engelbreth-Holm-Swarm (EHS) tumor and efficiently producing an extracellular matrix component such as a constituent protein of a basement membrane and to provide a method for establishing the cell line and a method for producing a secretory protein using the parietal-endoderm-like cell line.

SOLUTION: The parietal-endoderm-like cell line such as the cell line derived from the Engelbreth-Holm-Swarm (EHS) tumor is obtained by integrating a gene for an extraneous secretory protein such as a gene for human laminin. The constitution includes the integrated extraneous secretory protein such as the gene for the human laminin. Thereby, the secretory protein such as conventionally scarcely obtainable various basement membrane proteins such as human-mouse hybrid laminin-8 can efficiently be mass prepared and the secretory protein can be supplied at a low cost.
