PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of color matching for efficient and economical color image printing. SOLUTION: When the printing data of each spot color to be used for printing a color image and the printing data using inks of process colors exist, the printing data of each process color is separately printed on a transparent sheet 3 from other colors. The transparent sheets 3C, 3M, 3Y, 3K, 3S with the respective colors printed are superposed to simulate the printing colors in the color image for actual printing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
