<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture of a comparatively simple structure capable of attaching and detaching a compact fluorescent lamp to and from a socket and without change in light distribution through a secure support of the fluorescent lamp by the socket. <P>SOLUTION: A socket support stand 3 is arranged inside a lighting fixture main body 1, the socket 6 is fixed to the socket support stand and a light source 10 with a regular polygon light source case 11 is mounted on the socket. A top part of the light source case is in contact with the socket support stand with the light source in a mounted state on the socket, and the light source case is so structured to be supported to the support stand by an elastic support body 20.
